What a time to be alive.
The space exploration industry is advancing at a rapid rate. Why not be a part of it?
Hi there! My name is Bianca Vasquez. I created the Society of Women in Space Exploration (SWISE) to inspire young women to pursue careers in the exciting world of space exploration. Since launching SWISE in late January of 2019, we have built our team, expanded rapidly across the country with over 35 colleges registered as chapters, established a wonderful board of advisors, and have had a lot of activity surrounding space & women.
The Society of Women in Space Exploration (SWISE) promotes and encourages women, diversity and inclusion in space exploration. We believe anyone can be a part of the next generation of space leaders no matter who they are or where they come from.
By taking part in a SWISE chapter, or creating one, individuals are able to cultivate an enviroment that will benefit students in more ways than one and being part of a huge support system & greater network of future space leaders.
We are currently in the works of establishing a professional chapter division, where folks can create a community in their area (casual meet-up, happy hour, workshops, etc). Contact us if you are interested in starting a professional chapter.
